Why Montessori?
Many people are familiar with “Montessori”, but may not know about the educational philosophy named after Dr. Maria Montessori, the Italian founder of the child-centered pedagogy that has revolutionized education throughout the world. The first Montessori classroom, the “Casa Dei Bambini”, that Maria Montessori opened in January 1907, in San Lorenzo, Italy showcased her educational method.
Dr. Montessori developed her philosophy of education while observing children directly and working with them personally.
